Child Friendly Gardening
The sun has decided to come out and play today and with it has brought me inspiration to do some gardening. I'm wondering what things to plant and also a spot for the children to grow their own, and I'm thinking what is the most child friendly veg for them to grow and look after?

Rosie
Browsing through my photies and came across this little lady, we were baby sitting little miss Rosie for the night! x
Pause for thought!
It's been a while since my last post and it feels like going to confession!
My eldest got struck by the tonsillitis bug this time and went down hill until he was prescribed some antibiotics. He got delivered back to school this morning so I may now resume back to work duties!
Now that my husband has reduced down to one car, which is no bad thing by all means, it just meant I ha to walk boy no.2 and boy no.3 to school and pre-school this morning, which if anyone knows anything about boys, it's no easy task!!
So back to work and browsing the wonderful world of the net to see what's what and who's who. Only to stumble across some really bad PR, a company going out to deliberately sabotage another company by adding by reviews and their link within the review??? How can people like that sleep at night?
Oh well, back to sorting the house and other motherly duties, but in the meantime need to get my thinking cap on and think about a great competition I can do online, I am simply stuck!!!
Happy Tuesday one and all!

Will The Season Of Illness Come To An End??
After a long day at work yesterday I came home to discover I had a missed call on my phone from my eldest. I called back to hear a very faint and pitiful voice on the other end "I'm poorly", again! It's getting to the point where I'm thinking a career change maybe in order, a nurse or a doctor as I apparently appear to have a gift for both when it comes to the boys!
Rushing around and catering for their every need! When does this happen to me? Never!
That's my selfish rant over with.
So I'm sat at my desk attempting to complete yet more work only to have another phone call from the school nurse, to advise my eldest is very poorly with a very high temperature. I can't help but wonder if he's actually sticking the thermometer on the radiator while she's not looking! I wouldn't mind but this would be about the 6th time he is ill and it's not looking good for his secondary career!
Are kids honestly that dim? Do they not realise that by pulling sickies you end up with more work? You don't actually get away with doing no work if you've been off sick, you simply get to do it at home or catch up with more throughout the week!
So here it is then, another unproductive day as I know when I call back at lunchtime I shall have to go and pick him up, the funny thing is the second her enters the house he will have made a full recovery! Ah to be a child again!

The Sun What's That?
I just can't believe it, 2 days running we've had sun? What's going on? Is this the global warming they were warning us about?
So far so good, still no sickness bug appearing, however it would be interesting, although maybe painful I wouldn't mind catching it myself, I'd probably loose a few pounds and let's face I could really do with a bit of that right now!!
After watching "1 year to save my life" last night it's still managed to give the inspiration I need. It seems to me I have to weigh over 300lbs before anyone takes me seriously and gives me any free help! As the government are making such a big deal about obesity then surely they should invest in people who are on the verge and likely to become obese? Me!
Oh well, never mind I tried, I guess the next step is to go to the gym tonight and check it out, if I like it then there goes my hard earned cash for the next whenever until I manage to shift the weight!
How did I manage to digress from sunshine, illness then onto weight loss, well I'll tell you 1) The sun is shining and instinctively you think about beaches and warm weather wearing barely anything 2) moved onto illness as possible quick fix to loose weight in preparation for the summer 3) weight loss in general - it's just going to have to be a lot of hard work!
Right I'm putting the kettle on time for a magic cup of tea, accompanied by some chocolate!

Hello Monday
Well hello Monday, it's certainly starting to look like a busy week! I've been reading through a lot of interesting posts of at Mumsnet! That kept me busy for a while!
Well the week just gone has been somewhat dubious, it started out all great and full of confidence only to be greeted by the sick bug monster! Not sure about anyone else but here in the South Lakes we have beeb visited by the sickness and diarrhoea monster! Schools have been virtually empty for the majority if the week as most children have been very poorly with! My boys? Erm, I think it's safe to say (and touching wood while saying it!) I think they have stomachs made of steel, all I got was - "I have a tummy ache, I think I'm hungry" and that was about the extent of it in my house! Thank heavens!
On hearing what the other poor mothers had to endure last week I only pray that my boys have already had it! So this week is looking pretty full, I'm going to my 1st Networking group in Preston on Friday so that should be good. Brews on tap but still finding it hard to adjust working from my desk which is set up in my eldest son's room! Not too fussed as the sun is shining down yet again and heating up this room. Can't stand the cold! So why I'm living so far up north is beyond me! Happy Monday :-)

4th Child Madness?
Reading a blog over at http://www.beingamummy.co.uk/2012/02/fourth-child-madness.html discussing whether to have a 4th child or not. There are so many cons to the argument:
1) Going through pregnancy again
2) Going through childbirth again
3) All those sleepless nights
4) All that washing
5) All that cost
6) No more room in the house
7) No more room in the car
The list is quite endless and I could keep adding to it, but then again the thought of having another little one just fills you with so much love. As mother you can never have enough love! Plus as a women it's you're God given right to have children so why stop? The reasons outlined above?
Although I'm now approaching the late 30's stage of my life and my youngest now turning 4, yes I have thought about having another, but to be honest I stop myself and think no. I love my boy's and nothing in this world could ever change that, even if a new little one came, but I feel that I've done my bit, I have 3 healthy boys and I just feel greedy asking for more. So thanks but no thanks. x
